About Us

The Forest of Dean Business Women’s Association is a network of both fledgling and established companies within and around the Forest of Dean.

Set up to provide support and a point of contact, our aim is to promote the professionalism of local women and increase the stature of women in business in the Forest of Dean.

Meeting Information

We meet on the third Thursday of each month at varying venues within the Forest of Dean -  our base currently being The Belfry Hotel, Broad Street, Littledean, GL14 3JS - for an informal friendly lunch.  This provides a framework for sharing experiences, meeting friends and colleagues and, of course, the potential for meeting new clients and forging strong business links.

Each member and guest is invited to give a short introduction on the products and services their company provides; thus providing a platform for promoting your business.  You are welcome to hand around your business cards or place them on the allocated bumf table, so please bring an ample supply with you.

We welcome guests who wish to come along and see if they feel that the Forest of Dean Business Women’s Association would be of benefit to them.

Meeting Format

Cost of Membership

The initial membership fee is £32.00 – to include a £5 joining fee, plus your first quarterly membership fee of £27.00.

£27 per quarter will be deducted by standing order thereafter.

Benefits of Membership

• A monthly buffet lunch to include a presentation and an opportunity to network.
  
• Inclusion of your details in the Association’s web directory:-  www.fodbwa.org.uk.
• An opportunity to speak at a monthly lunch to tell the membership more about your business.
• Ad hoc events that may be organised from time.
• Links to other groups of a similar nature from which you may benefit.
